Before I capture your story, let
me tell you a little bit about mine.
I'm an (almost) Colorado native - born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised here since I was four months old. I grew up surrounded by incredible love stories and lifelong commitment, and flipping through old photo albums has always been one of my favorite things to do. I've always seen myself as an artist first. Charcoal, pastels, a deep love for the visual, and photography became the medium that brought it all together for me.
Where it all started.
My grandpa, Harvey H. Hoffman, grew up in Kansas and traveled the world with the US military before coming home to marry my grandma and build a life full of adventures, all documented on film. When I showed an interest in photography as a teenager, he handed me his entire collection of film cameras. I had no idea then how much that moment would shape everything I do today.
After he passed, sorting through his prints gave me something I didn't expect. A window into his world, his travels, and a love story told entirely through images. That's the why behind my work. To give you the same thing. Something to reach for and hold onto long after those big anticipated moments are over.
His love for photography, his eye for the world, and his cameras are woven into every part of the business I've built. I carry a little piece of him into every wedding I photograph. If you read this, I'm so grateful you let me share a little piece of his story, and a huge part of mine.
